Originally from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, Rishabh now resides in Dehradun and has been playing cricket professionally since 2014. He holds a B.Com from Rohilkhand University and completed his schooling from the CBSE board. As a right-hand opening batsman and off-break bowler, Rishabh has represented Bareilly in U-19 and U-23 district and zonal teams and has also been part of the state selection camp in both categories.

Qualifications and Experience

Rishabh is a certified Level 1 cricket coach with a grade A certification from MSDCA and an academy management course certification from CricKingdom Cricket Academy by Rohit Sharma. With three years of coaching experience, his primary goal is to nurture and produce players capable of representing their state and, ultimately, the country.

Coaching Philosophy

Rishabh believes that players should enjoy their practice sessions while steadily improving. He emphasizes repetition practice to ensure skills are ingrained in muscle memory. Key aspects of his coaching approach include discipline, effective coaching, and honest communication with players and their parents.

Balancing Modern and Traditional Techniques

Rishabh integrates modern coaching techniques with traditional basics, believing that both are crucial for comprehensive coaching. This approach addresses both the technical and mental aspects of the game, providing a well-rounded training experience.

Importance of Physical Fitness

Physical fitness is a cornerstone of Rishabh's coaching strategy. He asserts that fitness directly impacts mental and technical performance, and a fit body and mind enhance overall responsiveness. Mental well-being is also a significant contributor to peak performance.

Goals and Aspirations

Rishabh's approach to achieving long-term success involves setting and accomplishing short-term goals. Over the next three years, he aims to become financially stable, develop players to represent their state at higher levels, and achieve his fitness goals. Ultimately, he aspires to become a strength and conditioning coach for an international team.
